Oroville, CA – Conservative Republican James Gallagher announced raising $437,000 in his campaign for Assembly today including $64,172 more raised during the latest reporting period which began on January 1st 2014. The report shows Gallagher has $305,875 cash on hand, making Gallagher one of the most prolific fundraising candidates for the State Assembly. Gallagher leads all candidates vying for the 3rd Assembly District raising a stunning $60,000 more than his closest competitor in the last period ending on March 17th.

“Gallagher’s fundraising numbers will undoubtedly serve as a critical blow to challengers trying to gain traction,” said Gallagher’s political consultant Dave Gilliard. “Gallagher has led the way in gaining key endorsements and raising money from inside the District. James’ momentum is at an all time high heading into voter contact time. This is a very good indication that he will win in June.”

Gallagher is a Sutter County Supervisor and a member of a long-standing farming family in Sutter County. As a Supervisor and an agricultural attorney, he has championed property rights, protection of our ag-based economy, public safety and limited government.
